Terms of Service

These terms apply to bookings made with Game Set Life Tennis Academy, Parow Court, Parow, Cape Town. By creating a profile or booking a lesson you agree to them. They are subject to the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

1. Your profile

• You need a profile with accurate name, phone and email details to book.
• Keep your password private; you are responsible for bookings made from your account.
• Players under 18 must be registered and booked by, or with consent of, a parent or legal guardian.

2. Bookings and hours

• Lessons run Monday to Friday 11:00–19:30 and Saturday 08:00–12:00. We are closed on Sundays.
• Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and up to one month ahead.
• A booking is confirmed once it appears in your upcoming bookings and you receive a confirmation email.

3. Prices and payment

• All prices are in South African rand (ZAR) as shown on the website at the time of booking.
• Payment is made at the desk on the day of the lesson. Monthly invoices run from the 25th to the 25th.

4. Changes and cancellations

• You can reschedule or cancel a lesson online up to 24 hours before it starts.
• The coach may reschedule or cancel a lesson (for example due to weather or illness); you will be notified by email and will not be charged for a lesson the coach cancels.

5. Missed lessons

If you have a confirmed booking and do not cancel at least 24 hours before the lesson, and do not attend, the lesson remains payable in full. You will receive an email confirming the amount due.

6. Health, safety and conduct

• Tennis is a physical activity. Please tell the coach about any injury or medical condition before your lesson.
• Wear suitable shoes and clothing and follow the coach's safety instructions on court.
• Players take part at their own risk, except where loss or injury is caused by our negligence, to the extent allowed by law.

7. Your information

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with POPIA.
